Singapore, June 1st, 2023 – Nereus Subsea proudly announces the launch of Biodiesel Fueled Boat ‘NEREUS GREEN 1’, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to environmental sustainability and decarbonization efforts. The Green Boat is the first of its kind for Nereus and signifies a major stepping stone toward our broader initiative to drive positive change in the maritime industry.
Equipped with 2 units of Weichai’s WD10C326-21 marine propulsion engines and powered by Biodiesel, the green boat is built to be in compliance with the government’s maritime sustainability efforts from now to 2030.
Our state-of-the-art vessel utilizes cutting-edge technology and eco-friendly practices to minimize carbon emissions and optimize energy efficiency. By embracing renewable energy sources and implementing advanced propulsion systems, Nereus Subsea has succeeded in creating a vessel that sets a new benchmark for sustainable maritime operations.
